Keep a Journal
Having sensitive skin but not knowing what is bothering it can be frustrating. Is it your foundation? Your facial cleanser or moisturizer? It gets extra complicated when you try new products and aren’t sure which one causes issues for you.
The best way to avoid these problems is to keep a skin journal. When you find an all-natural moisturizer or other items you want to try, write it down in your journal. Keep track of the days and your skin’s reaction for at least a month. You can use this information to narrow down what ingredients bother you or to explain to your dermatologist what’s been going on.
Clean the Bedding

Choose cotton bedding for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin so that your skin can breathe as you sleep.
Use Sun Protection
One of the most important tips for those with sensitive skin is to use sun protection. Use sunscreen daily with an SPF of at least 30 for the best protection. If you have sensitive skin, trying to tan it usually leads to burning it. Also, don’t skip the protection in the winter. The sun’s rays are still getting to your skin.
Once you find the best routine for your sensitive skin, stick with it. Changes often cause more irritation.
