What is Holistic Health Coaching?
Holistic Health Coaching, also referred to as wellness coaching, is a professional relationship between a coach and a client that inspires a client to move forward in his or her work environment, business, or personal life with greater clarity, focus, and momentum. Health coaches motivate clients to make positive and lasting changes to their health and well-being.
Using the wisdom of positive psychology, health coaching empowers clients to realize their own inherent strength so they can experience transformational change on a deep and intuitive level. Whether you want to develop a more positive mindset or cultivate healthier eating habits, health coaches offer a support system that encourages you every step of the way until you accomplish your goals.
What is My Coaching Process?
Depending upon where you live, we can (1) meet in-person, (2) talk on the phone, or (3) use Skype.
- Free Phone Consultation – We’ll start with a free 20-minute phone call to discuss your goals, how you feel coaching can benefit you, and to see if we are a good fit to work together.
- By the Hour – We begin the coaching process by clarifying your wellness vision, identifying your core values, setting priorities, and creating a personalized action plan so that you can accomplish your goals. We will continue to review your action plan, implement new strategies, and assess how well you are accomplishing your goals. The action plan is fluid and can be adjusted depending upon your level of motivation and what you would like to accomplish.
- Summary & Action Plan – After each coaching session, I will provide a written summary of our discussion with thoroughness and detail. This summary serves as an important reference for both present and future collaborations. I will also create a personalized Action Plan which lists the specific goals that you would like to complete along with timelines and a built-in accountability system.
What Happens During a Session?
We begin by assessing your current aspirations and clarifying your goals. I ask questions to uncover your perspective, reinforce your own insights, and explore opportunities. We will create a personalized action plan to help you accomplish your wellness vision. The sessions are conversational in nature and discussion is confidential between the coach and the client.
Depending upon your goals, meditation and energy balancing can be included to promote a sense of wholeness and well-being. With these holistic methods, I offer a space of support so that you can align with your objectives and stay focused on your wellness vision.
